Cannonball, much like our Bullet Espresso, is a stellar example of the sophisticated flavour spectrum that espresso drinkers across North America have come to expect.
 
Created with only organic and Fair Trade coffees from the Jinotega region of Nicaragua, northwestern Sumatra and Sidamo in Ethiopia, Cannonball marries the diverse flavours of different regions, altitudes and varietals to brilliant effect.  With deep notes of dark chocolate and orange and a floral, blueberry finish, Cannonball is jam-packed with flavour, while still maintaining remarkable clarity as both a straight espresso or in milk-based drinks.

Fantastic! These beans were recommended to me by a local award winning barista whose opinion I greatly respect. I like them far better than the Super Bar I was using, The are very forgiving to the fineness of the grind. I did not have to spend a lot of time fine-tuning my grinder  when readjusting for these beans.
Reunion Island's service is fantastic too. Definitely a great company to deal with.

This makes a great cup of espresso. It was a very nice change from the Bullet (which I've been drinking for a while, however still my favourite) and I would definitely purchase again.

Cannonball FTO Organic Espresso January 2, 2011

The dry beans smell like melon and caramel while the brewed aroma is floral with a mild roast nut note.  The first sip is balanced acidity that is felt more than tasted while any aftertaste is indistinguishable from the initial taste.  The mouth feel is medium to full but so clean and silky smooth.   As it cools nothing changes save a hint of cocoa in the finish. This blend presents a striking clarity found in the cup prepared using the Solofill adapter – as an espresso the initial taste is mild acidity joined quickly by a dark bittersweet finish.

We served this on Christmas eve for the first time. It is better than any other store-bought espresso we've had- and even challenged our taste memories of authentic espressos in Roma. Such richness- no bitterness, and it left a beautiful creamy finish on the surface. Guests who declined the after-dinner coffee changed their minds after the aroma wafted through the air ~ and they were very impressed.
