On a sourcing trip to Guatemala, Finca La Pampa stood out as a prime example of sustainable farming. Nestled in the tranquil Acatenango Valley, La Pampa is situated amongst a pristine landscape and its high altitude and superior farming practices all contribute to producing one of the finest coffees we have ever discovered.
La Pampa is certified by the Rainforest Alliance and adheres to stringent environmental, labor and community standards. The benefits of certification are evident throughout the farm: children are educated, farmers are paid an equitable wage for their work and wildlife and the environment are protected.
With notes of toasted walnut and cinnamon, the coffee is smooth and rich, with body and a sweet acidity. It is roasted to a full city color to preserve its full flavor. As always, we are proud to offer coffee from farms that produces a quality product with sustainability firmly in focus.
