Reunion Island Coffee has committed to planting a tree with Trees for the Future for every order we receive online.
Since 1989, Trees for the Future has been helping communities around the world plant trees. Through seed distribution, agroforestry training, and our country programs, we have empowered rural groups to restore tree cover to their lands. Planting trees protects the environment and helps to preserve traditional livelihoods and cultures for generations.
Trees for the Future also plays an important role in our Sierra Verde Project. This program showcases coffees grown organically and under the Rainforest Alliance’s exacting standards to bring you a cup that is always seasonally fresh and of the highest caliber. We work with Trees for the Future to plant two trees in a developing coffee-producing country for every pound of coffee sold through the Sierra Verde Project.
With your support, we’ve been able to help Trees for the Future plant 44,688 trees in Brazil and Tanzania so far.
